We regularly advise individuals on settlement agreements issued to them by their employers. Before you can accept an offer which has been made as part of a settlement agreement, you need to obtain independent legal advice.

We can give you that advice. It is very likely that your employers will make a contribution towards the cost of our advice. This contribution may meet all of our costs. If it does not, we can ask your employers for an increase in the contribution or advise you at an early stage as to how much you may have to pay.

If you wish to accept the offer, we can advise you on the settlement agreement and try to get matters resolved as quickly and easily as possible

If you have been made an offer as part of a settlement agreement and would like to negotiate better terms than those on offer, we can carry out those negotiations on your behalf.

It may be that you are undecided as to whether to accept an offer or to take a claim to an employment tribunal. We can advise you on all the options available to you, the likely costs involved and what we anticipate you might recover, should you pursue each of these options.

If you wish to contact us regarding a settlement agreement, please complete this form and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Optional: upload your settlement agreement
